「中國醫藥大學附設醫院張倍禎醫師、蘇冠賓教授、和英國倫敦大學國王學院(King’s College London) Carmine Pariante教授團隊，最新的合作研究發現魚油 (又稱omega-3 脂肪酸)可以改善注意力不足過動症 (ADHD) 孩童的專注力- 尤其是針對那些體內缺乏omega-3的孩童。這個跨國的研究透過「個人化醫療」的概念發現魚油並不是對所有患有ADHD孩童都有好的療效。該研究團隊在之前的研究也發現omega-3缺乏越嚴重的孩童的ADHD症狀會越嚴重。」
Researchers from King’s College London and China Medical University in Taichung, Taiwan, have found omega-3 fish oil supplements improve attention among children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), but only among those with low levels of omega-3 in their blood. The paper is now accepted for publication by the Translational Psychiatry and has been reported by several news media.
